Ouran High School Host Club

romyraI just completed watching the entire 26-episode Ouran High School Host Club series over a 5-day period, and I have this to say in passing...I 
it!!!!!
The series starts off somewhat as a comedic gender benderesque type anime but over the course of the episodes you realise that it's a very well scripted anime that deals with issues of acceptance, the search for companionship and above all the interaction of 'family members.'
I can't just describe this anime as being good or great but rather I can describe it in how it made me feel. I felt
watching it , as though my life's burdens just floated away for each 24 minute episode. I felt at peace and ready to laugh whenever a new episode started and above all I thought of nothing else when an episode was going on.
The final 8 or so episodes are the most moving in that you get the back-stories of the characters and you see how they came to be as close as they are right now.
To some it may seem as though I am reading too much into it, after all its supposed to be for entertainment purposes but at the end I was really moved by all the events that I had seen. I really needed something like this after the week I've been having, but that is a post to follow. For now I just have to reccommend that you get Ouran High School Host Club, watch it and then let me know how it made you feel.
