Sep. 10th, 2006 04:09 pmNot much to say at the mo', just that for once I'm glad to be in my house and not at work, though I keep waiting for my phone to ring with a request **read order** for me to come to work.
Had my first Level 2a Japanese class yesterday, it went ok but the months of stress took a toll on my memory and I have to play catch up but I will since this is one of the few things about graduate school that I enjoy.

New Manga Obsession
Jul. 29th, 2006 06:25 pmI was ordered by laurapetri to get Crimson Spell by Yamane Ayano and so having already joined a streamload site and request board I did so lickitysplit 'cause we have very similar tastes in the things we like and I know my girl wouldn't steer me wrong.laurapetri I love you, have I ever told you that? Well I do from the bottomless well of my twisted dark heart, and I fervently hope that we burn together when the world goes to hell.

I'm so happy for him!!! I've followed this story ever since I saw him on Tv a couple of years ago and he was this really skinny, young Japanese man with a shock of blonde/yellow hair, who beat out all comers to win an American Prize.
I thought it nicely ironic that this small man could hold off 200 lbs+ American red-blooded males so easily. Anyway he won again and that's all that matters.
That said new AFI album: December Underground. Please support our artists and buy where possible...you know what to do if not.

New name and theme for my Journal
Jun. 26th, 2006 08:12 pmI've been playing around with the customizing tools available to lj users and I really do like what I've done with my journal. I think its very aesthetically pleasing and that's really all that matters.
I have a revived obsession, I really love finding good Doujinshi to download and allthough sometimes I'm a bit slow on the uptake, when I do find the sites I'm in heaven till of course I exhaust all the possible downloads on the site.
I got 16 Full Metal Alchemist Djs from Scan-Clan and boy am I happy. I also got two new chapters of Gantz so I have stuff to read. I've also been informed that I shall soon have my very own copy of Ai no Kusabi on DVD!!!!!!!!!!! Dear God my happiness knows no bounds.

One should also check out the main site as there are a good few gems on the pages.
Finally there is the subject of imageboards that I was recently introduced to and to be quite frank they are under a cut as they contain ADULT material and also are not for the faint of heart. The person I'm posting this for knows who they are.

Manga Downloads
May. 8th, 2006 05:33 pmYou know its funny how things work out sometimes. I first saw the anime GANTZ around April 2005 and I thought it was quite twisted and really out there but I forgot about it and then around April this year I remembered it and thought to do a scanslation search and see if anything turned up. Well not only did I find the Manga but I found all of the current volumes online, translated and for download. I'm up to volume 19 and let me tell you, that manga takes you on a trip, twists and melts your brain and still you crave more. I downloaded feverishly for two weeks until I was up to Volume 18 and then I began to stalk Volume 19. I'm happy to report that I am up to date and loving it. I reccommend the following site for all your manga needs.
