Ladies and Gents of my Flist! If you enjoy watching pictures of beautiful men be they muscled, androgenous,  feminine, or other wise then I suggest you click the link below. These are not pornographic pictures. They are instead photoshoots depicting male beauty in all of its forms. Any nudity is very tastefully done and HOW!

These pictures are at once thought provoking, eroticized, pleasing and above all beautiful.
Not very NSFW so only look at them where it is safe to do so.

Clicking on the magazines to the left will bring up that particular photoshoot.

Go forth and view!

BeautifulMag

Also this site has beautiful male models - Sandro and Maykson

That's my good deed for the night and lord knows I needed this since Deadliest Catch is making me cry with the tragic tale of the Katmai sinking.

I got this in my mailbox this morning and it made me smile.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'

The girl said: 'NO!'

And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, dancing, camping, drank martinis, had a clean house, never had to cook, did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, didn't save money, and had all the hot water to herself. She went to the theatre, never watched sports, never wore friggin' lacy lingerie that went up her ass, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants and was pleasant all the time. The End

My mom and Dad left this morning on a three week visit to Rahway, New Jersey. Mummy is off to see her sister and well dad is along for the ride 'cause he's like a fish out of water without my mum. I'm going to miss them but I'll miss my mom more 'cause we're really close. I mean we talk every night even if its only to say good night. So yeah I'm a little bummed. I had to stop myself from tearing up this morning when I watched them go through the international gate for departure. I really hope that its me next year. I need to get away from everything. Watching them leave this morning got me thinking, I do that a lot when I'm alone and sometimes at times when I should be doing other things. Anyway I was thinking that in my country we have such a close family network in some respects. I know that in the States for example its expected that at the age of 18 one leaves to start one's own life. Here in T&T we tend to stay at home even though we have  jobs until we get married or migrate. Both the men and women do this. For the traditional indian families, girls marry and leave home to go to her in-laws house while boys stay at home with their wives. Some times either child leaves to build their own home but sometimes they just build on the home compound and live a stone's throw from their birthplace.

I've lived on my own for the past 7 years and I can't imagine going back home, mostly because I've gotten used to being alone and having my own intinerary. My brother lives at home though and he's  24 yrs old. This is completely normal for us as is calling our parents mummy and daddy forever. Seriously we all call our parents mummy and daddy despite being old enough to call them by their names. My 55 year old supervisor calls her mother mummy. Cultural nuances are so cool sometimes.

Anyway its going to be a long three weeks! I hope to keep myself occupied with lots of SGA slash etc.

Edit: At 8.06 am Mummy just called to say that they're boarding so I'm off to have a little cry and to think of what I want for lunch. Its going to be tofu and something, I'm not sure yet.

Son of Edit: At 3.06 pm My aunt called to say that Mummy and Daddy were lost somewhere in Florida...luckily I heard them laughing in the background before I panicked. So they've arrived safe and sound in Newark and are on their way to Checkers and then home to Rahway. They're gonna have the best time.

Life Explained.....

On
the first day, God created the dog and said:

' Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years. '

The dog said: ' That ' s a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I ' ll give you back the other ten? '

So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said:

' Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I ' ll give you a twenty-year life span. '

The monkey said: ' Monkey tricks for twenty years? That ' s a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did? '

And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said:

' You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer ' s family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years. '

The cow said: ' That ' s kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I ' ll give back the other forty? '

And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created man and said:

' Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I ' ll give you twenty years. '

But man said: ' Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten
the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay? '

' Okay, ' said God, ' You asked for it. '

So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information. I'm doing it as a public service.

Ok people next week is AnimeCity and I want to know what we are doing for transport? [profile] laurapetri I can pick you up as its easier to come get you than meet you  in city gate. [personal profile] wicked_liz can you get by [profile] laurapetri on Saturday morning? What time do you guys want to meet? Since we don't have VIP tickets if we want to hit the mall at all we'd need to go early and get in line as we don't have any first privileges this rounds.

Let me know okay.

Its not Car-nay-vale its Car-Neee-Val
Its not Tri-nay its Tri-neee
But thats all semantics...I saw po-tay-toe you say po-tah-to...In the end it means the same thing.

I installed Internet Explorer 7 on my Pc today and it seems to work quite well and I even got the hang of Tabs in less than 5 minutes. The page setup is streamlined to be less cluttered but I did have my IE6 set to my preference with my copy, delete, print icons all lined up now there are no icons and I know that I can change it to suit but for the moment it's okay. I did take off that Clear Type thingy since it was really hurting my eyes. I have to admit though I love the tabs, since I can open
2 - 3 windows and then have 6 tabs in each according to what I'm searching, very useful that.

Anyway I have a fic rec that simply must be read if you enjoyed the dynamics of Pirates of the Caribbean. Its a Jack Sparrow/ Commodore Norrington with Will/Elizabeth thrown in along the line. Honestly one of the best fics I've read all year. The main site it's hosted on has some real gems and they are all long fics which I LOVE.

The main site is this:

Welcome to Cultural Infidelities

and what you need to do is get to the Index of all fics, do a search by series and read the Sparrington Series. The parts are neatly labelled re: the main series and the smaller dealings in the universe. Trust me on this you will not be disappointed when you read this fic. It's absolutely beautiful and well worth the time spent reading  since its delightfully long. Go now and read people.

Also on an unrelated note, I got my computer chair fixed today, I can now roll around at will and it doesn't hurt my back anymore which is a blessing in disguise. I love it.
