Birthday Celebrations

I should have posted this yesterday but what the hell......

Yesterday was My Birthday!!! I celebrated a milestone and though it was a quiet celebration, it was still great. I went home for the weekend and that was a good thing by itself. 

The menu for Sunday 7th January 2006 included the following:-

1. Sponge Cake <-- I really prefer Chocolate but I got a slice of that so I didn't complain.
2. Sweet and Sour Shrimp
3. Chicken Fajitas
4. Mushroom Pilaf
5. Peach Wine (Non-alcoholic since I am mostly a teeotaller)

The night before we went to dinner and I got Curry or rather:-

1. Paratha Roti
2. Curried Potato
3. Stewed Chicken
4. Curried Shrimp
5. Indian Style Pumpkin
6. Cheese Cake
7. Sponge Cake <---what is with that though? Doesn't anyone like chocolate anymore?
8. Sorrel

I really ate well this weekend and to have to go back to health food really sucks. Oh well at least I can eat at Lunchtime.

Presents included:-

1. Silver rings
2. A silver chain
3. A lovely tribal silver pendant.

the best present by far though is the 4th

4. a  sum of money  redeemable at year's end. My parents love me since they give me the best presents

I know that its very materialistic of me but I love money and the more I have the better I feel.
