Earthquake Update

We got word tonight of the Magnitude of the Earthquake this morning. It was a 5.8 on the Richter Scale and after 2pm today we had an aftershock that measured a 5.5 on the Richter Scale, so yeah we had a very *exciting* day. We were released from work early at 3pm instead at 4.30 pm mostly because our boss was apprehensive about staying in the building.
There is structural damage to some of the buildings on the compound but no-one was hurt.
It was really one of the largest earthquakes to hit us recently and though we thankfully did not experience the devastation that usually occurs when one so strong hits, we still were made aware that our island is not equiped to handle such a natural disaster.
Hopefully the aftershocks that are to follow will be moderate and that will be it. But believe me when I say that I'll be sleeping with one eye open tonight.
We even made the BBC News.
News Byte 2.
That's about it for now, hopefully nothing else will develop.
