A new beginning

Sometimes you just have to sit back and marvel at the mannerisms of people and how, no matter what your resolution is, they manage to make you almost lose it. 

I went to day one of a 2-day 8:30am - 4:30pm workshop on Customer Care and Experience this Saturday. I had groused about it since I had plans this weekend but by the end of the day I felt motivated to at least try harder with the people I am forced to deal with on a daily basis. I even went as far as to plan to put what I learnt towards dealing with the roommate.

How plans change, when she with sister in tow came up, they were gruff, abrupt and generally unpleasant. Have you ever met people who feel the world revolves around them? That believe that what they think is the only truth and their word is gospel? They have no patience for anyone else and believe that everyone should change to deal with them? Well those two are prime examples of  that type of behaviour.  Anyway the littleinteraction I have with them tends to be strained and frankly I keep praying for the day they will leave, honestly vacation periods are the best times of the year for me since they aren't in the apartment. 

But I digress, I'm making a studied attempt to be nicer this week to persons who I have to deal witth....I would like it to be sucessful but one can only try.
