Translation: Today I am very happy.
Why.....well because last night I had a very good time. I won the prize for Level 1 Japanese study or rather Nihongo o Benkyou Suru.
It was presented to me by the Japanese Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Mr. Koichiro Seki and I was vey honoured to be the receipent of that prize.
I also had the giggles because he was very cute in my eyes, kawaii desu ne.
I wanted to take a picture with the entire entourage but I was unable to do so, oh well. I do have however a picture of him shaking my hand as he gives me the gift bag with the items in it.
I also met and got a picture with the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves.
It was a very good night, not to mention that the food at the soiree afterwards was very tasty.
I really enjoy nights of celebration for achievement in Academia and to meet and greet heads of state is both an honour and a priviledge.
I had a really good time.
